Interior Designer Manager
The successful candidate will be in charge of handling projects in various stages from design stage and MUST be proficiency in ArchiCAD or AutoCAD skills as well as 3D Max, Illustrator or other design programs. You will deal with design from conceptual development and liaising with the stakeholders to managing and executing the design. The goal is to design practical spaces but yet visually pleasing.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Undertake design project from concept to completion
- Define project requirements and schedule during the “brief”
- Interpret and translate customer needs into rough plans
- Set costs and project fees according to budget
- Research and decide on materials and products sourcing
- Produce “sample” and “mood products”
- Work closely with designers, decorators, architects and constructors
- Supervise work progress
- Research and follow industry changes, evolutions and best practices
Minimum qualifications:
- Degree in Interior Design or architecture from a recognized university or college.
- Those with Diploma plus 4 years’ experience can also apply.
- At least 3 years work experience as an interior designer/ architect
- Proven working experience in decorating interior spaces (consultations, renovations, space planning and new constructions)
- Expertise in layout, colour, lighting, materials selection, custom furniture and all installations.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Arch CAD, 3D Max, Illustrator or other design programs
- Project management skills
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
- Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint)
