Reporting to: Study Coordinator & Principal Investigator
Qualifications
- Degree or Diploma in nursing
- Registered with the Nursing Council and have a practicing license
- Must have GHI Research Ethics
- Excellent computer skills
- Held a previous position in Maternal and Child Health added advantage
- Language skills: fluency in English, Kiswahili
- Team player with ability to work closely with other study staff at the site
- Experience in collection of study data using REDCap and ODK
- The candidate should have at least one-year experience in PMTCT
- Must have enough experience in obtaining venous blood samples from mother and infants
Responsibilities
- Collect data per approved Standard Operating Procedures and input into Android tablet system
- Conduct follow up visit in person with study participants either at the facility or at home
- Submit weekly summaries of follow-up and exit visits interviews to the study data manager
- Collect venous blood samples from mothers and infants
