Arsenal tipped to sign five players in transfer window after massive cash injection

Arsenal have been tipped to sign no fewer than five players this summer after Stan Kroenke provided the club with a cash injection.
That’s according to former striker Kevin Campbell, who reckons the Gunners need to make wholesale changes if they want to compete for titles once again.

Arsenal haven’t been bankrolled like their league rivals in recent transfer windows, but club owner Kroenke has recently pumped money into the club.
The Gunners informed the London Stock Exchange of their plan to redeem bonds linked to the construction of the Emirates Stadium.
The cash injection will ease financial constraints brought on by the coronavirus pandemic, and may enable Arsenal to flex their muscles in the transfer market.
Should this be the case, then Campbell expects the Gunners to snap up at least three new recruits to strengthen the first team.

Campbell told GentingBet: “Arsenal need four or five players across the board. They need centre-halves, I can see them going for one or two players in that position.
“They also need central midfielders, and more energy across the midfield and either another striker or a wide player.
“I could see three players coming to Arsenal, dependent on recruitment and transfer budget – I’m not sure what’s going to happen and I’m not sure who Arteta is looking at.
On who the Gunners could sign, he added: “I could take Thomas Partey in midfield, from Atletico Madrid and Adrien Rabiot from Juventus.
“I’d love to see Kalidou Koulibaly [from Napoli] at the back as Arsenal struggle with quick forwards and Koulibaly is quick and an excellent defender.
That’s the position, especially after the north London derby, where we need someone who can cover ground pretty well.”
