Rue Baby, daughter to Kenyan artiste Akothee has said she had to overcome insecurities over her petite body as it’s something she had no control over.
According to the model, she was called names growing up but decided not to let that get into her head.
‘Growing up I never really appreciated being called thin or sticks. I had a hard time accepting my body the way it is.
But then I realized its what is unique about me and I started loving it. so about your various body insecurities just own them and love them.’
Like we say one man’s meat is another man’s poison.
Many women are currently working out to look like Rue the same woman many called ‘sticks’.
