Mbadi: Raila Sympathized With The Jobless Ruto And Found For Him An International Job

Deputy President William Ruto has been appointed among three members who will serve on the Steering Committee of the Open Government Partnership as per details revealed by his Legal Adviser Korir Sing’oei.

According to details from the OGP website it has reported that the countries which have emerged a winner are the governments of Canada, Italy, and Kenya who are expected to serve in the committee for 3 years as from October 1.

The main role of OGP is to bring together government leaders and civil society advocates in 78 countries and a growing number of local governments to promote accountable, responsive and inclusive governance.

Deputy President Legal Adviser Korir Sing’oei, has applauded DP Ruto asserting that the appointment is of great importance since Kenya also stands to benefit as this leadership gives the country the platform needed to promote OGP principles of transparency, civic participation.

Cesar Gazzo Huck, Undersecretary of Open Government and Digital Nation of Argentina has congratulated the leaders from the countries which have been assigned the role asserting they look forward to working together to leverage our leadership role to shape and deliver on OGP’s ambitious vision to build more transparent, inclusive, and participatory governments.
