Betty Kyallo’s sister under fire from netizens for saying Dennis Okari is a stranger to their baby ▷ Kenya News

– Mercy Kyallo came out to defend her sister Betty against accusations of being unappreciative of ex-hubby Dennis Okari’s role during their daughter’s sickness

– The younger Kyallo said Okari was more of a stranger to his child than a father

– According to her, the person who took care of the child was Betty’s new Somali lover

– Mercy’s sentiments attracted wrath from Kenyans on social media who heavily bashed her

Mercy Kyallo’s attempt to “clean up” her elder sister, Betty Kyallo, has backfired badly after netizens pounced on her for saying Dennis Okari is a stranger to the estranged couple’s baby Ivanna.

The younger Kyallo came to the defence of her sister after journalist Ken Mijungu revealed the mother of one was never appreciative of Okari’s role in taking care of their daughter when she was sick.

Mijungu was responding to an earlier social media post by Betty in which she detailed the struggles they had in the past months with her daughter but failed to mention Okari’s role during that period.

This led to netizens assuming the NTV news anchor was a one irresponsible dad who never bothered about his baby.

In her response, Mercy said Okari only spent a few weeks with the daughter before he disappeared and never returned to check on how she was doing.

According to her, Betty’s Somali bae was fully responsible in taking care of the baby when he, Okari, could not do it.

“Dennis, I could see your handwriting everywhere, Last time we met, you took over my night shift and offered to sleep over with the baby. We thought to ourselves as a family that – you are a stranger – you and Naomi were both strangers to us but it was your right as a father, a kind gesture & we respected that,” said Mercy.

It is this statement that landed the younger Kyallo in trouble with social media ‘experts’ who are keen at interpreting and analysing text word by word to decipher meaning.
