As Kenyans trooped to various entertainment joints and tourism spots across the country to celebrate Christmas, Secretary-General of United Nations Conference on Trade Development Mukhisa Kituyi had a date with his family at Diani beach and shared photos.
Perhaps, it was the first time the former Trade and Industry minister and ex-Kimilili MP shared a photo of his beautiful wife Ling Kituyi and three children Sitati Kituyi, Laila Mayilila and Thor Masalule Kituyi.
“With our three children, we celebrate the beauty of Christmas at Kenya Diana Beach. Coconut water with a touch of rum,” he captioned.
Sitati is the co-founder of AfricanStockPhoto, a stock photography marketplace featuring images from across the continent.
The last born Masalule Kituyi recently graduated from the University of Portsmouth with honours in Mechanical Engineering.
“It is felicitations all around as our last borne Masalule aka Masa graduates with honours in Mechanical Engineering,” the 63-year-old tweeted.
Masalule, now 22, is a biker whose riding skills have wowed many. He begun the sport at a tender age of six.
According to information shared on his Facebook page, he moved to England to race competitively.
Laila on the other hand holds undergraduate degree in Psychology and a masters in Public Health Policy from King’s College London.
Mukhisa and wife were blessed with four children. However, the couple lost their first born Ivar in 2015 after suffering diabetic attack.
“We always take it for granted that when we bring up our kids they will be there till we pass on. The children will see us to the grave, not the other way round. So to lose our eldest son at the young age of 30 has been extremely difficult to take. But our future is not always in our hands,” he eulogised during a requiem mass.
