Domestic tourists will now save up to 30 percent in their travel and accommodation plans to the South Coast, this follows a deal signed between Diani Reef Beach Resort and Spa and Silverstone Air.
According to the hotel’s Managing Director Bobby Kamani, the deal is expected to spur domestic tourism ahead of the high season.
“We believe it will be beneficial to local tourists since they are saving up to 25 percent from the usual rates. At the same time, Diani has a lot to offer being Africa’s leading beach destination,” said Kamani.
The South Coast has remained among the favourite tourism destinations in the country. Boasting of white sandy beaches, the destination has further been boosted by an increase in local flights departing out of Nairobi’s Wilson Airport.
“This is a very special package which will enable Kenyans to take advantage of visiting the award-winning Diani Beach, which is well and truly Africa’s leading beach destination,” noted Patrick Oketch, the Sales and Marketing Manager for Silverstone Air.
Travelers are now set to enjoy flights and accommodations at discounted rates as the deal between the two firms is expected to run up to December this year.
