It cost close to Ksh 3 billion to construct Isiolo International Airport that was commissioned more than a year ago.

This prompted the Regional Development Implementation Coordination Committee to conduct an extensive tour of the airport to assess the utilization levels of the facility.
Miraa farmers and passengers from both Isiolo and in Northern Kenya are being encouraged to make maximum use of the facility.
